  • ACGME Resident/Fellow Portal

For specialties and subspecialties that do not use the Case Log System, please share the following with your residents (in specialties and subspecialties that do use the Case Log System, residents and fellows already have access to these features):

ADS has launched a new tool for residents/fellows to retrieve their Milestone evaluations and the program-level aggregated results of their Resident/Fellow Survey reports. The Resident/Fellow Portal will also allow users the ability to edit some of their personal information.

To create their Resident/Fellow Portal account, individual residents and fellows should visit https://apps.acgme.org/ads/public/residentportal/search, or click Resident/Fellow Portal from the ADS login page, and enter their relevant information.

Email questions or feedback regarding the Portal to ads@acgme.org.

The Accreditation Data System (ADS) is an online service of the ACGME-I . Usernames, passwords, or any other piece of information used as part of our security procedures must be treated as confidential and must not be disclosed to any other person or entity. Sponsors and accredited programs may only access and/or update their own organizational records. Users acknowledge that information submitted to ADS through the application process or annual reporting shall be accurate, complete, and truthful. Users are responsible for taking all reasonable steps to ensure that no unauthorized person shall have access to their ADS account and agree to immediately notify the ACGME-I of any need to deactivate the account. The ACGME-I has the right to disable any username, password, or other identifier, whether chosen by the user or provided by the ACGME-I , at any time if, in our opinion, these Terms of Use were violated.

  • Attention, users running Chrome, Firefox or Safari with plugins or extensions. If you are currently experiencing an incomplete User Interface (UI), please add "acgme.org" domain to your ad blocking plugin/extension whitelist. The reason for the page displaying without styles resides in the domain name having "ads" ex: apps.acgme.org/ads in which the plugin/extension reacts to "Ads".

  • Access to the Accreditation Data System (ADS) is secured by an encryption certificate obtained through the VeriSign Corporation. We use 128-bit SSL encryption to help ensure the secure transfer of information. If you are using a less secure encryption level you may experience difficulty and should upgrade.

  • The data you provide us will be used by ACGME-I for accreditation, will be maintained confidentially, and will not be distributed for commercial use. Summary data and other information about programs, institutions, resident physicians or resident physician education which is not identifiable by person or organization may be published in a manner appropriate to further the quality of GME and consistent with ACGME-I policies and the law. Complete information about the use of the ADS can be found in the ACGME-I Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

The Case Log System utilizes Common Procedural Terminology (CPT) codes. The five character codes and descriptions included in the system are obtained from CPT, copyright 2021, by the American Medical Association (AMA). CPT is developed by the AMA as a listing of descriptive terms and five character identifying codes and modifiers for reporting medical services and procedures.
